Iran continues to strike at Israel, yet today’s attacks were less deadly than previous days.

The Islamic Republic of Iran continues to strike at Israel. At 1:27am on Wednesday morning, the bomb sirens sounded in Netanya, Beit Yehoshua, Even Yehuda, Airport City, Bat Yam, Bnei Brak, Herzliya, Kfar Chabad, Modiin, Ramat Gan, Or Yehuda, Ramla, Rishon LeZion, Tel Aviv, Jaffa, Hod Hasharon, Kfar Saba, Petach Tikva, and a variety of other places across Central and Northern Israel.
The Jerusalem Post reported that multiple fires have broken out due to shrapnel hitting residential buildings in northern and central Israel. An impact from the Iranian missile attack started a fire in a parking lot in central Israel, the Times of Israel reported. According to the report, there are no injuries, but 20 cars sustained damage. According to the Jerusalem Post, MDA is currently assisting several people who injured themselves on their way to protected areas.
Earlier, at about 12:30 a.m., approximately 15 missiles were launched from Iran, most of which were intercepted by Israel’s air-defense systems, triggering sirens in northern and central Israel, Arutz Sheva reported. According to the report, Magen David Adom reported five impact sites, but no casualties have been reported. Multiple fires have broken out due to shrapnel hitting residential buildings in northern and central Israel, the Jerusalem Post stressed.
Over both barrages, an estimated 30 missiles were launched, the Jerusalem Post added. Meanwhile, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei shared a photo on X/Twitter with the caption “the battle begins.”
This comes after at around 5:00pm on Tuesday afternoon, sirens again sounded across central Israel following the launch of another round of ballistic missiles, the Times of Israel added. According to the report, an initial IDF assessment indicated that fewer than 10 missiles were launched in the attack, although that number was later amended down to just two. One of the missiles was successfully intercepted, while the second one landed in an open area.
On Tuesday morning, at around 8:30 a.m., some 20 ballistic missiles were launched at Israel by Iran, according to initial Israel Defense Forces assessments, the Times of Israel reported. According to the report, the attack set off air raid sirens across large areas of the country, from the north to the south. Sirens were also triggered in the Jerusalem area, although not in the capital itself, where explosions from air defense interceptors were heard, the Times of Israel added.
Reports said one missile hit a storage shed near Herzliya, setting it on fire, and another hit a parking lot, where an empty bus went up in flames, the Times of Israel added. Footage shared on social media showed an empty bus parked at a bus depot that was heavily damaged, with a pillar of smoke seen, the Jerusalem Post reported. Magen David Adom reported that ten people were lightly injured in that incident. However, one individual suffering from light injuries later arrived at Ichilov Hospital, part of Tel Aviv’s Sourasky Medical Center, according to Maariv.
