A Hamas official proclaimed, “Everyone who can bear arms anywhere in the world must act. Do not spare an IED, a bullet, a knife, or a stone.”

According to a recent report put out by MEMRI, “the Palestinian Quds News Network published an X post citing a statement from senior Hamas official Sami Abu Zuhri calling for attacks on Israeli and American interests in response to U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan of “voluntary relocation” for Gazans.”
MEMRI claimed, “According to the post, Abu Zuhri claimed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent statements about Israel’s intent to implement Trump’s plan reveal an “American-Zionist scheme linked to the displacement project.” During a government meeting that morning, Netanyahu declared that Israel would “enable the implementation of Trump’s plan.””
Abu Zuhri asserted: “In the face of this diabolical plan, which combines massacres and starvation, everyone who can bear arms anywhere in the world must act. Do not spare an IED, a bullet, a knife, or a stone. Let everyone break their silence. We are all sinners if the interests of America and the Zionist occupation remain safe in light of the slaughter and starvation of Gaza.”
According to MEMRI, “the Palestine Scholars Association (PSA), which is led by members of Hamas, urged Muslims to carry out “jihad operations” against Israeli and American interests around the world. On the same day, Hamas called to besiege Israeli and U.S. embassies worldwide.”
These threats were made as rockets were fired towards Sderot and the Gaza vicinity communities. The red alerts were sounded on Tuesday morning at 8:36am in Or HaNer, Sderot, Ivim and Nir Am. According to the Times of Israel, the rocket was successfully intercepted by air defenses, the military said, and there were no reports of injuries. JNS reported that the Palestinian Islamic Jihad took responsibility for the rocket attack.
Following the rocket launch towards Sderot and the Gaza vicinity, the Israel Defense Forces’ Arabic-language spokesperson issued an urgent warning on social media, urging civilians in several northern Gaza neighborhoods to evacuate immediately, JNS reported. In his post, Avichay Adraee named Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia, Sheikh Zayed, Al-Manshiya and Tel Al-Zaatar as areas from which “terrorist organizations are once again launching their rockets from among civilians.” Describing the message as a “final warning before the airstrike,” Adraee stressed that the IDF had “warned this area multiple times” and called on residents to move “immediately west to the known shelter centers in Gaza City” for their safety, JNS noted.
In the past week, there were 532 red alerts in the State of Israel and a total of 1,782 in the past month. Since the October 7th massacre, there have been 34,094 red alerts in the State of Israel and 6,083 UAV alerts. The most targeted communities statistically speaking are Kiryat Shmona, Margaliot, Misgav Av, Netiv HaAsara, Metula, Kfar Giladi, Ashkelon, Tel Hai, Shlomi, Sderot, Avim and Nir Am.
