At 10:40am on Sunday morning, the Houthis fired two missiles at Israel. The sirens were sounded in Kfar Chabad, Rishon LeTzion, Holon, Lod, Ramla, Jaffa, Tel Aviv, Bat Yam, Bnei Brak, Ramat Gan, Modiin, Ramat HaSharon, Bet Shemesh, Beitar Illit, Modiin Illit, Airport City, Gush Etzion, Herzliya and many other locations across Central Israel, the Jerusalem area and Samaria.
An IDF spokesman reported that two missiles were intercepted by the “Arrow” air defense system, Arutz Sheva reported. According to the report, residents in the center of the country and Samaria reported the sounds of explosions. Arutz Sheva reported that debris from the interception landed in the Tel Aviv area.
The Jerusalem Post reported that Israel’s emergency response service, Magen David Adom (MDA), said it had not received reports of injuries. However, according to the report, it later noted its paramedics were providing medical treatment to two people who had been injured while running to a safe area.
The Jerusalem Post reported that MDA said a woman in her 40s was in moderate condition after she fell into a pit on Route 1 when running for shelter. According to the report, an additional woman in her 30s was suffering from light injuries after the door of a safe area had hit her.
The Times of Israel reported that it was at least the eighth Houthi attack on Israel since March 18, when the IDF resumed its offensive against Hamas in the Gaza Strip. All of the missiles fired since then have been intercepted without causing significant damage, the Times of Israel added.

When discussing the Houthi terrorists in Yemen, the Jerusalem Post reported that Netanyahu stated that he “greatly appreciates the actions of our ally, the US,” who are “dealing with them very forcefully.” He added: “We are acting to defend ourselves…but the fact that the US has gone in there vigorously is a major change.” This alliance has “the full appreciation of the citizens and Government of Israel,” Netanyahu concluded.
According to the Times of Israel, at least four US airstrikes hit the Saada governate, in the country’s northwest, minutes before 1 am on Sunday morning. Some 30 minutes later, three US airstrikes were reported on the Bani Matar district, just west of the Houthi-held capital Sanaa, in the country’s west, the Times of Israel added.
