In the eyes of Fatah, the Abraham Accords are an Israeli plot for the Zionists to “rule from the Euphrates River to the Nile River.”

According to a recent report published by Palestinian Media Watch, “US President Trump has initiated an expansion of the Abraham Accords’ Israeli-Arab normalization agreements, engaging in talks with Syria, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia. The PA views this as a major threat to its ability to mobilize a unified Arab position against Israel.”
Palestinian Media Watch continued, “Accordingly, instead of recognizing Israel’s desire to expand peaceful relations, PA and Fatah officials misrepresent the Abraham Accords as an expression of Israel’s alleged plan to “rule from the Euphrates River to the Nile River,” as stated explicitly by senior Fatah official Abbas Zaki.”
Fatah Central Committee member Abbas Zaki recently stated on his Facebook page: “If we recognize the Abrahamic Peace (i.e., the Abraham Accords), it means that the descendants of the [Jewish] settlers will say “We are the descendants of Abraham, and Abraham gave us the land.” … Anyone who thinks that Israel only wants Palestine is mistaken. It [wants to rule] from the Euphrates River to the Nile River. “The new Middle East” that it talks about is one of the types of Israel’s hegemony over the region.”
According to Palestinian Media Watch, “PA Chairman Abbas’ Advisor on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations Mahmoud Al-Habbash echoed Zaki’s statement, claiming that Israel plans to take over “the entire Arab and Islamic nation.””
As Mahmoud Al-Habbash proclaimed: “Palestine and the Palestinian people are the first line of defense for the Arab and Islamic nation as a whole. Israel is not only targeting the Palestinian people, but rather [aims] to control the entire region. We need Arab and Islamic support so we will be able to continue our resolve against this occupation (i.e., Israel), which, as I said, aims to control the entire Arab and Islamic region.”
According to Palestinian Media Watch, “Other PA leaders and PA education likewise present Israel as a threat to the entire Arab-Muslim world and use that as a reason that Jews should leave and “return to their origins in Europe,” neglecting of course to mention that 50 percent of the Israeli population consists of Jews who were compelled to leave the Arab world and that many of their descendants still eat Arab cuisine, read the Passover Haggadah in Arabic, and play Arabic music at their weddings, bar mitzvahs and other family celebrations. Some of them can still even converse in fluent Arabic, despite the passage of time. However, in the eyes of the Palestinian Authority, all Israeli Jews are a foreign European colonial implant, regardless of the fact on the ground that Israel is a multi-cultural society.
PLO Representative to the UN and International Organizations in Geneva Ibrahim Khreisheh proclaimed: “Israel is an occupying state, and it needs to end its occupation… They (i.e., Israelis /Jews) are talking about historical Palestine from the [Mediterranean] Sea to the [Jordan] River, and later they will talk about [Israel] even bigger. They think according to the religious stories that Greater Israel from the Nile to [the Euphrates River in] Iraq is the land of Greater Israel. Most of them came from various nations and ethnic groups from Europe and other states and stole the Palestinian land…Those who claim their ‘historical right’ (i.e., the Jews) need to return to their origins in Europe and other states from which they came. Palestine will remain for the Palestinians.”
